As mentioned earlier by MS Power User, the new update introduces a brand new PvE mode, Guerilla Mode. This latest PvE mode expands on the game’s PvE experience with a unique challenge that test Ghost Recon players’ endurance and gaming skills.
The new Guerilla Mode can be played in either a solo campaign or in a cooperative team with up to four ghost players. As expected, Ghost Recon could expect a much tougher fight in this new update. Players will need to use all their gaming skills and tactics to defend key objectives against enemies. Players must protect key locations against enemies attempting to capture it. Players will also get the chance to buy better weapons and upgrade skills with resources collected on the battlefield. However, players will need to be smart in buying weapons or upgrading skills. Players will need to have a strategy to survive the onslaught.
In addition to the brand new Guerilla Mode, the update also brings a new Ghost War PvP-focused contents. These include a new PvP class in the form of Sapper. This new PvP class option will allow players to deploy a specialized drone capable of releasing concussion mines in the battlefield. These concussion mines will drain stamina from players, thus slowing down their rush.
Ubisoft is bringing more, including two new PvP maps and two new PvP events. In the Arms Race PvP event, players will spawn with only their pistols as their primary weapon. This forces the players to explore his gaming environment in search of better weapons. Like the Arms Race, the Danger Zone is another exciting and challenging place to play. Here, players are constantly bombed with ultrasonic blasts, forcing players to constantly move to avoid the blasts.
The latest update also added a new Heatmap view, which allows the players to see the most visited locations in the Ghost Recon Wildlands. The map will also help players discover areas that have not yet explored.
The latest update also brings some of the most requested community features
As reported earlier by Gamingbolt, the latest update also introduces a new custom match browser, allowing players to search for matches based on their personal criteria. Ubisoft also added new cosmetics and weapons to the game.
But the biggest addition for the game will be those highly requested community features. These include the ability to change the time of day settings for the Solo Campaign Mode, a new compass HUD option to PvE, new daily campaign challenges with increased rewards and new bleeding notification in Ghost War.
