NIS America, the fast-growing North American branch of the Japanese video game studio and publishing giant Nippon Ichi Software, is planning some major gaming announcements next week. The first one will be announced on March 3, while the second announcement will be coming on March 5.

In addition to the two major announcements, the North America-based studio is also hosting a special live gaming stream this week. In the live stream, the studio has just confirmed reports that its side-scrolling action game Kemono Heroes is now available on Nintendo Switch. The studio started the live streaming event with a huge announcement trailer and lots of gameplay.

For those haven’t heard of Kemono Heroes, the side-scrolling action game combines elements of run and gun. It brings fast arcade action with slashes and cool characters. The game was developed by Mad Gear Games, a European-based video game development team. The Kemono Heroes was already released on major gaming platforms, which include Microsoft Xbox One, Sony’s PlayStation 4, Apple’s Mac, and Linux platform.

During the live streaming, the NIS America, according to a recent report by Dualshockers, has just confirmed that none of these two upcoming announcements will be the western release announcement of The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV, which reportedly the fourth and final game in the Sen no Kiseki series. Reports said that it could be the western releases of Zero and Ao no Kiseki, or something else new.

Founded in December 2003 and based in Santa Ana, California, the NIS America was established by the Japanese entertainment software giant Nippon Ichi Software to handle the marketing and publishing of the Japanese firm’s titles in the North American market. The first video game that was released in the North American market was the Phantom Brave, a tactical role-playing game developed and published by Nippon Ichi Software. The Phantom Brave was developed for Sony PlayStation 2 console and it was first introduced on the Japanese market on January 22, 2004. In August 2004,  the Phantom Brave was released in the North American market.
